
One Block at a Time
You are stranded in the middle of the ocean. You see the path to safety, but the journey will be dangerous. There is some kind of spell that limits your actions. Can you survive the many obstacles in your way, or will you be stranded forever?
How to play
Timings
- Player: moves 1 block/tick (increased player speed 2 blocks/tick, decreased player speed 1 block/2 ticks)
- Cannon: shoots 1 bullet/2 ticks (increased cannon shoot speed 1 bullet/tick, decreased cannon shoot speed 1 bullet/4 ticks)
- Laser: lasts 3 ticks including animation (decreased laser shoot speed 6 ticks including animation)
Controls
- A: Pan left
- D: Pan right
- Esc/P: pause
- Left click: place block
- Right click: remove bloc
Changes Since Jam Submission
Known Bugs
There is a huge lag spike after pressing "Play" the first time in game. I currently have no idea how to fix this.

Cool game! I like the visualization a lot! The shaking when you are hit feels like it is real. It is a bit tedious to create the different blocks with separate clicks, allowing click and drag to continuous create could be more fluent (same for destruction). Fun game, I enjoyed playing it.
Thanks for playing! I think drag placing and deleting blocks is a really good idea, idk how I didnt think of that lol. I’ll add it today
